Wow!! I finally got my first project done in Apo!! <a href="debi62.deviantart.com/art/Star…>[Stars' Embrace] I also got to try my hand at using GIMPshop as well! I'm new to both apps so it was pretty confusing at times but... it's done!!! YIPPEE!!! It feels good to finally have something accomplished! It seems like forever since I was working in fractals before! I didn't know much about them then and I only know a little bit more about them now; but I still love playing with them and watching what appears from just a few tweaks here and there. I had a blast doing this and I think it turned out OK for my first attempt. Hopefully I'll get better with time (and with the help of many tutorials).
GIMPshop was still a bit of a challenge as well, even though they improved GIMP by making it act more like Photoshop. I had to go through a couple of tutorials for that too before I managed to produce the few effects I did. I look forward to learning more about both GIMPshop and Apo though. I love graphic creation/manipulation!!!! It's so cool!!
Thanks go to DWALKER1047 for her tutorials in learning how to copy and paste in Apo and also with the use of the script and the directions in her tutorial on working with light backgrounds. (Both of these links can be found on my piece's gallery page.)
Well... it looks like I'm on my way to actually being a DA artist and creating a home here, huh? This is fun! OK... let me at that Fractal-Resources Round Robin now!!! I think I'm ready for the challenge!

The owner told me that he's kind of waiting for the new DA club/group platform to be put into play before he makes a concerted effort to reorganize/publicize the group officially.)

FYI / Personal Update
Hey guys and gals!
This is just an update on why I'm not around much these days. For those who don't know, I'm taking the last of my prerequisite courses for a masters degree program I want to get into for Neuropsychology. School is obviously keeping me terribly busy these days!!!! arg. I have until October 1st to get my application paperwork for the grad program completed. This includes taking my GRE!!!!!! That's the only graduate exam they accept and expect; but it's a doozie!!!!! I think I'm going to go to the program director and beg and plead for more time to do this!! I'm mathephobic and this test is really freaking me out! I'
